HTML Entities Encoder / Decoder
Escape text so it can be shown safely inside HTML, or turn entities like &, é and 😀 back into characters. Decoding is done with a lookup table; the input is never rendered as HTML.
Escaped HTML
The output is shown as plain text and never rendered as HTML, so pasted markup or scripts cannot run.
How to encode HTML entities
- Choose Encode or Decode.
- Paste your text or HTML.
- When encoding, choose whether to escape only the special characters or all non-ASCII too.
- Copy the result.
