Frequently asked questions
How large can the texts be?
The comparison runs in a background thread, so the page stays responsive. Tens of thousands of lines compare in about a second. Extremely different large inputs stop after a time limit, and you are told when that happens.
Can I get a patch file?
Yes. Copy as unified diff produces standard diff -u output that tools like git apply and patch understand.
