Privacy
Short version: what you put into DevKOM stays on your device.
Processing happens in your browser
DevKOM is a static website. When you open a tool, your browser downloads the page and its JavaScript once. From then on, every operation (formatting, decoding, hashing, comparing, generating) runs inside your browser tab. There is no backend, API or database that receives your input.
Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored
- Text, code, JSON, tokens, passwords and files you open are kept only in the page's memory.
- They are gone when you close or reload the tab.
- They are never written to localStorage, cookies, IndexedDB or any other storage.
- Files you choose (for example in the Hash Generator) are read locally with the File API and never uploaded.
What is saved in your browser
Three preferences are saved in your browser's localStorage:
- Your theme choice (light, dark or system).
- The tools you marked as favorites.
- The last few tools you opened (tool names only).
You can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Network requests
The site only loads its own files (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, fonts and icons) from its host. A Content-Security-Policy instructs the browser to refuse any connection to other origins, so even a bug could not send your input elsewhere. There are no third-party scripts, ads, trackers or analytics that capture your content.
Hosting
DevKOM is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process standard request data (such as IP address and the page requested) to deliver and protect the site. Tool inputs are never part of those requests.
Accounts and cookies
There are no accounts, sign-ups or logins, and DevKOM sets no cookies.
