Time Zone Converter

Pick a date, time and source time zone to see the same moment in other zones. Daylight saving time is applied from your browser's time zone database, including the rare times that are skipped or repeated when clocks change.

Offsets and daylight saving rules come from your browser's built-in IANA time zone database. Dates shown in amber fall on a different day from the source.

How to convert time zones

  1. Enter a date and time.
  2. Choose the time zone that time is in.
  3. Add the destination zones you want to compare.
  4. Read each converted time, its UTC offset and whether DST applies.

Frequently asked questions

What are IANA time zone names?

Identifiers such as Europe/London or America/New_York from the IANA tz database. Unlike abbreviations like EST or IST, they are unambiguous and include each region's DST history.

What happens to times that don't exist because of DST?

When clocks spring forward, an hour is skipped. DevKOM warns you and moves the time forward. When clocks fall back, an hour repeats; DevKOM uses the first occurrence and tells you.
